About Work
From 3 properties to around 60. From Osaka to all of Japan.
The role of Corporate Planning is to design HIWIN's growth strategy based on numbers and data, supporting the decisions that drive the business.
Expansion plans for new areas, revenue simulations, market analysis, and the formulation and progress management of KPIs.
Working in close proximity to management, your analyses and proposals are reflected directly in the direction of the business.
Precisely because we are in a growth phase, this is a job where the appeal lies in building the framework yourself
rather than simply following precedent.
Rooms Division Section
The Rooms Division is responsible for creating spaces where guests can stay comfortably, from the launch of a property through to quality improvements after operations begin. Its work spans a wide range of tasks: selecting, ordering, and installing fixtures and fittings, adjusting room layouts, establishing cleaning quality standards, handling defects and repairs, and improving on-site operations. What characterizes this work is that it goes beyond desk-based thinking—you see the field for yourself, identify issues, and shape them into better solutions. There is great fulfillment in knowing that your own ingenuity translates directly into guest satisfaction and enhanced value for the property.
Revenue Management Section
The Revenue Management Section is responsible for maximizing sales and occupancy in the lodging business. By analyzing data such as demand forecasts, market trends, and competitor pricing, the team sets optimal pricing and manages inventory for each property.
It also responds flexibly to an ever-changing market through the operation of OTAs (online travel agencies) and the planning and improvement of sales strategies.
Rather than simply managing numbers, the team constantly asks, "How can we become the choice of more customers?" and turns that thinking into concrete measures. The appeal and fulfillment of this work lie in seeing your own judgment and ingenuity reflected directly in results, in the form of sales.
Content Section
The Content Section handles a wide range of creative work: creating and updating our listings on online travel booking sites, photography, design production, in-house app development, and the operation of this official website.
It is the department that shapes the "face of the brand"—creating the very first information that customers and business partners encounter.
To convey the appeal of our hotels and company to the fullest, the team analyzes which forms of expression are most effective and tailors them optimally for each medium.
Your output leads directly to acquiring customers—and that is the great fulfillment of this work.
Customer Service Section
Our members handle multiple languages—including English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Thai—serving guests who visit from all over the world.
At a site where around 2,000 guests check in each day, our strength lies in teamwork that transcends differences in language and culture, enabling swift and accurate responses to inquiries and room requests.
In an environment where each member can grow by drawing on their own areas of expertise, we work to create experiences where guests can stay with complete peace of mind.
Working every day in contact with the diverse values of people around the world makes this a varied and deeply rewarding job.
Construction Section
The Construction Section always thinks from the customer's perspective, right from the planning and design stages, and works to make improvements. To complete construction on schedule while maintaining quality, we conduct frequent on-site inspections, check progress and quality, interview contractors, and resolve questions and issues promptly.
The most rewarding moment in this job is when the drawings come to life as a finished reality.
Purchasing Section
We build a high-quality, sustainable purchasing system that maximizes profit while giving top priority to the customer experience.
In purchasing within Japan, we first consider the local situation, recommend the best plan to suit cost and practicality, build good relationships with suppliers, and thoroughly track parts all the way to their arrival on site.
In purchasing from China, we verify the prices of furniture, fixtures, and construction materials, and—while keeping the company's profit firmly in mind—carry out thorough checks from carefully selecting factories to confirming samples against drawings.
Delivery to the site generally takes longer than purchasing within Japan, but we plan ahead by coordinating with customs brokers and arranging on-site logistics while anticipating any situation that may arise.
By building an efficient and strategically valuable purchasing system and optimizing costs and the supply chain, we give HIWIN a competitive edge and serve as a key driving force behind its management strategy.
Asset Management Department
With the mission of maximizing the value of the real estate the Group owns and operates, we take end-to-end responsibility—from formulating investment plans at the decision-making stage, to ongoing management after investment, to devising exit strategies. We enhance profitability through the formulation and monitoring of business plans and the advancement of leasing strategies, while also focusing on investor relations and development. Working across the operational, financial, and market perspectives, we achieve sustained growth in asset value.
It is a rewarding and fascinating job in which you can take a bird's-eye view of our entire business and be involved in dynamic decision-making.
Finance Department
The Finance Department supports the company's growth from the financial side through cash flow management, dealings with banks, and loan negotiations. In important decisions such as opening new properties or acquiring assets, it formulates funding plans and manages risk to support management decisions. Going beyond mere number management, the team accurately grasps the progress of the business and the flow of funds, playing the role of balancing the speed and stability of growth.
The appeal and fulfillment of this work lie in the fact that your own involvement supports the expansion of the business.
Human Resources Department
The Human Resources Department is a specialist team that supports the company from both the organizational development and talent development sides, so that every member working here can bring out their full potential. In our company, where employees of many nationalities work together, we place great importance on creating an environment where everyone can demonstrate their abilities with peace of mind, while respecting differences in culture and values. From recruitment and development to improving the working environment and designing systems, our mission is to simultaneously achieve the growth of each individual employee and the sustained development of an organization that turns diversity into strength.
Food & Beverage Department
Japan has four seasons, and as the seasons shift, everything—from ingredients and dishes to the colors of the tableware—changes as well. It is a culture savored with all five senses, alive and thriving.
We cherish Japan's uniquely multisensory food culture and offer dining experiences that stay in the heart. We refine our craft day by day so that the expression of the season and the skill of our artisans, poured into each and every plate, become memories that remain in the hearts of those who visit.
In addition, we are advancing the launch of a central kitchen and collaboration with our lodging business company to build a catering operation that lets guests enjoy a leisurely meal in their rooms, in pursuit of even higher customer satisfaction.
